Marine Rubber Airbag
Marine rubber airbag is categorized into “Ordinary Airbags”, “High – bearing Capacity Airbags”, and “Super – high – bearing capacity Airbags”. The diameter ranges from 0.8m to 3.0m, with an effective length of 5 – 25m.
- QP Ordinary Airbags: Airbags with 3, 4, or 5 layers of cord fabric.
- QG High – bearing Capacity Airbags: Airbags with 6, 7, or 8 layers of cord fabric.
- QS Super – high – bearing Capacity Airbags: Airbags with 9, 10, or more layers of cord fabric.
The Marine rubber airbag can be used for ship launching/landing, marine salvage, and heavy lifting. All marine rubber airbags are made using innovative holistic wrapping technology. They are manufactured and tested in compliance with the ISO 14409 standard.
The ship – launching technology using the Marine rubber airbags is an innovative method that overcomes the limitations of fixed launching tracks in traditional side – launching. Ship – launching airbags are widely used in more shipyards worldwide due to their advantages of time – saving, cost – effectiveness, flexibility, and safety.
Construction Features
The marine airbag is constructed from an outer rubber layer, multi – layer heavy – duty synthetic tire – cord layers, and an inner rubber layer that is firmly vulcanized. Marine airbags have a cylindrical balloon body with two conical heads at both ends. Air – tightness swivels and air inlet kits are screwed onto the ends.
- Synthetic – tire – cord Layer: The reinforcement layer of marine airbags is made of rubber – coated synthetic tire – cord fabrics. Many synthetic tire – cord layers are twined at ideal angles using unique and patented “Holistic Wrapping Technology” to hold the internal pressure and distribute the stress evenly. We use the 1400dtex – 2/3 type synthetic tire – cord fabric. The warp has over 95 cords per 100mm in width, and the breaking strength is more than 215N per cord.
