China Super Cell Rubber Fender

The China Super Cell Rubber Fender is a well – established fender type. This fender has a hollow cylindrical body with fully rubber – embedded mounting flanges and is designed to deflect in an axial direction. Originally designed to replace cylindrical fenders, these fenders have more than 30 years of track record with only some minor improvements over the years. Cell fenders are very robust and have been used for decades in many ports around the world.

Advantages

  • High energy absorption with low reaction force: It can effectively absorb a large amount of impact energy while generating a relatively low reaction force, reducing the stress on both the vessel and the dock structure.
  • Frontal Panel can reduce the surface pressure to the ship, surface pressure could be controlled below 200KN/m², it is suited to berth large ship: The frontal panel helps distribute the impact force over a larger area, thus reducing the surface pressure on the ship’s hull. This makes it suitable for berthing large vessels.
  • UHMW – PE pad is fixed with Frontal Panel to lower the friction factor between ship and fender system, this can effectively extend the service life of fender system through reducing the shear force: The UHMW – PE pad reduces the friction between the ship and the fender system, minimizing shear forces and extending the service life of the fender system.
  • Super Cell Rubber Fender has excellent multi – direction angular performance: It performs well under multi – directional angular impacts, providing reliable protection in various berthing scenarios.
