Marine electric heating water tank
1. Overview
The DRG series electric heating water tank can be used in series with on – board freshwater pressure tanks. Freshwater from the pressure tank replenishes this unit, which then heats the water electrically before feeding it into the water supply network. This device is designed for hot water supply systems on various types of vessels and can be configured with different heating capacities according to customer requirements.

3. Technical Features
- Control: The electric heater activates automatically when the cabinet temperature drops below 50°C and stops at 65°C. If the float – level switch detects a low water level, the control box disables heating. For units with multiple heaters, the system can operate them individually or simultaneously until the water temperature reaches 65°C and then stops. It features both automatic control (automatic heating, automatic shutdown) and manual control options.
- Protection: Includes protection against overload, short – circuit, overheating, and audible – visual alarms.
- Reliable: Comprises a 40mm thick insulation layer, double – sided sealed welded tank body, and solid construction.
- Easy Maint: Vibration – resistant, shock – resistant, low failure rate, and easy to maintain.
- Safety: When the water level falls below the float switch, it immediately cuts off the power supply and triggers an alarm to prevent dry – burning damage to the heater.
