Installation Guide
1. Base Mounting
The entire oil water separator system is pre-assembled on a welded channel steel base for easy installation. The shipyard must prepare a foundation that matches the base dimensions and bolt hole layout (refer to Fig. 2). Secure the unit to the ship structure using bolts and specialized beveled washers (recommended: GB/T853 standards).
2. Piping Connections
The following connections must be made by the shipyard using suitable flanges and piping:
| Connection Point | Model YWC-0.25 to YWC-3.00 | Model YWC-4.00 to YWC-5.00 |
|---|---|---|
| Oil Water Inlet | DN20 – DN32 | DN50 |
| Treated Water Outlet | DN20 – DN32 | DN50 |
| Clean Water Inlet (Backflush) | DN20 – DN32 | DN50 |
| Return to Bilge Connection | DN20 – DN32 | DN50 |
| Oil Outlet (Sludge Discharge) | DN20 – DN32 | DN32 |
| Concentrated Liquid Return | DN20 – DN32 | DN32 |
3. Electrical Connection
Connect the main power supply (3-phase, 380V/440V, 50/60Hz) to the control box terminals.
For automatic bilge level control:
-
The liquid level probe relay (JYB3 #15, #5/#6) is initially short-circuited from the factory.
-
To enable automatic level sensing, remove the short-circuit copper wire and connect the external bilge level probe as per the electrical diagram.
