Compact Marine Oil Water Separator – IMO MEPC.107(49) Certified Bilge Treatment System

Product Overview
Our Compact Marine Oil Water Separator is a fully type-approved system designed for efficient treatment of oily bilge water onboard vessels. Engineered to meet strict IMO MEPC.107(49) regulations, this integrated unit ensures that discharged water contains ≤15ppm of oil—complying with international environmental standards. The system includes a high-performance oil water separator, a 15ppm bilge alarm monitor, and an automatic shut-off device, providing a complete solution for MARPOL Annex I compliance and sustainable marine operations.

Key Features
  • ✅ IMO MEPC.107(49) & MARPOL Compliant – Guarantees effluent quality under 15ppm.

  • ✅ Complete Bilge Management System – Integrates separator, oil content meter, and automatic stopping function.

  • ✅ Robust and Compact Design – All components pre-mounted on a steel base for easy installation and stability.

  • ✅ Flexible Power Options – Supports 380V/440V, 3-phase, 50Hz/60Hz power supply.

  • ✅ Global Marine Approvals – Certified by CCS, BV, DNV, ABS, LR, GL, KR, RINA, and EC.

Installation Guide

1. Base Mounting
The entire oil water separator system is pre-assembled on a welded channel steel base for easy installation. The shipyard must prepare a foundation that matches the base dimensions and bolt hole layout (refer to Fig. 2). Secure the unit to the ship structure using bolts and specialized beveled washers (recommended: GB/T853 standards).

2. Piping Connections
The following connections must be made by the shipyard using suitable flanges and piping:

Connection Point Model YWC-0.25 to YWC-3.00 Model YWC-4.00 to YWC-5.00
Oil Water Inlet DN20 – DN32 DN50
Treated Water Outlet DN20 – DN32 DN50
Clean Water Inlet (Backflush) DN20 – DN32 DN50
Return to Bilge Connection DN20 – DN32 DN50
Oil Outlet (Sludge Discharge) DN20 – DN32 DN32
Concentrated Liquid Return DN20 – DN32 DN32

3. Electrical Connection
Connect the main power supply (3-phase, 380V/440V, 50/60Hz) to the control box terminals.
For automatic bilge level control:

  • The liquid level probe relay (JYB3 #15, #5/#6) is initially short-circuited from the factory.

  • To enable automatic level sensing, remove the short-circuit copper wire and connect the external bilge level probe as per the electrical diagram.
