The AFGU series leverages waste heat from jacket cooling water, resulting in minimal energy consumption—approximately 7KWH per cubic meter of freshwater produced. The integration of a separator within the vapor evaporation chamber ensures the production of high-purity freshwater. The jacket cooling water flows around the exterior of the heating tubes, reducing the residence time of seawater and brine in the heat exchanger, thereby minimizing partial brine concentration.
Maintaining a high vacuum in the vapor evaporation chamber via a water ejector enables evaporation at low temperatures, significantly reducing scale formation in the heating tubes. This allows for sustained freshwater production capacity without the need for frequent descaling.
