The BHD seawater desalination device (plate type) utilizes the waste heat from the main engine jacket cooling water as the heat source and seawater as the cooling medium. It employs the vacuum flash evaporation method to convert seawater into high-quality freshwater, supplementing the shortage of freshwater on ships. The evaporator and condenser plates of this device are designed using titanium plates, characterized by durability and low maintenance costs.
The device consists of an evaporator, condenser control system, and salinity meter. The freshwater pump transports the freshwater to the freshwater tank, creating a vacuum environment through ejection. It can also be equipped with an anti-scaling device (for high-temperature heat source water above 75°C). All components are modularized for convenient installation.
