Air-Powered Quick-Close Valve Control Box
Principle Description
Compressed air is supplied to the air vessel of the air-powered quick-close valve control box. The air pressure in the air bottle is maintained at the set value through a pressure controller. The air in the air bottle is divided into several required circuits by a distributor. In case of emergency, open the ball valve quickly, and the air will actuate the piston of the air-powered quick-close valve on the oil transfer pipe, causing it to close rapidly.
Application & Features
The quick-close valve control box is a remote control device suitable for fuel oil tanks, lubricating oil tanks, or daily service fuel oil tanks on ships. It is used to remotely operate and close valves, thereby shutting off oil circuits. In the event of a fire emergency, it effectively prevents the spread of fire and avoids significant losses.
