How It Works – Intelligent Three-Stage Separation Process
First Stage: Gravity & Coalescing Separation
The bilge water first passes through a seawater pre-filter to remove large debris. It then enters the first separator, where hydrophilic cone wave plates promote the coalescence of oil particles. Free oil rises to the top chamber, and a pneumatic valve system automates the oil discharge process and performs fresh water backflushing, maintaining peak efficiency.
Second Stage: Depth Filtration

Theory
The YSZ series separator is a gravity-type oil filtering device composed of a separator, special pump, electric control chamber, and 15ppm bilge water alarm device, including filter assembly and other pipelines, valves, and accessories. It adopts a three-grade oil-filtering mode, utilizing specific weight differences to separate floating oil from bilge water. The second-grade oil filtering chamber condensates and roughens tiny oil grains, enabling them to separate and float on the water surface. Treated water meeting discharge standards is drained directly outside the board, while separated dirty oil accumulates on top of the oil filtering chamber and is discharged into a dirty oil tank when a certain amount is reached.
