Usage and Features
The variable frequency water supply device delivers water to the entire ship for crew living, sanitation, and firefighting through seawater or freshwater pipelines.
This device adopts variable frequency speed regulation and programmable control technology. It can adjust the operating frequency of the water pumps according to outlet pressure changes, regulate pump speed, and automatically control pump operation and dormancy, thereby maintaining constant outlet water pressure.
The water supply device is equipped with two control modes: automatic (variable frequency) and manual (power frequency). It features automatic frequency conversion and pump boosting/pressure reducing functions. The unit has automatic wake-up during water use and automatic dormancy when not in use. It is also equipped with protection against under-voltage, over-pressure, over-flow, overload, phase loss, short circuit, transmitter failure, and water shortage pump protection, along with fault display alarms and automatic shutdown protection.
According to the crew’s water demand, it can be freely combined into units, such as one pump one tank, two pumps one tank, three pumps one tank, two pumps three tanks, or three pumps two tanks. It can form a unit for the seawater (or freshwater) system, or combine the seawater and freshwater systems into a single unit.
