• Corrosion Mapping: Document rust progression with photographic benchmarks

2. Dimensional Checks (Quarterly)
• Wear Measurement: Ultrasonic testing for diameter reduction
• Elongation Monitoring: Mark 10-link segments for stretch comparison
• Shackle Tolerance: Verify Kenter/Baldt shackle tolerances within 2%

3. Advanced Testing (Annual)

Magnetic Particle Inspection for surface cracks
Ultrasonic Thickness Testing on random links
