I. Electrical System
- Structure and Appearance
- The main components of the electrical control box include: circuit breakers, transformers, current transformers, meters, and terminal blocks.
- The electrical box is of a box – type structure, with the electrical box door made of sheet – metal opening type and the frame welded.
- The top reaches the protection grade of IP44. Both sides are equipped with hanging ears for wall – mounted installation.
- The input and output wiring ports have permanent marks for easy wiring and maintenance.
- The enclosure is made of high – quality cold – rolled steel plate, with the surface treated by pickling, phosphating, and electrostatic spraying. The color is generally micro – armored gray, and emergency stop buttons are red.
- Safety Monitoring
- Monitoring instruments: The monitoring instrument F72 series power – utilization meters, with a meter accuracy grade not lower than 1.5.
- Internal Wiring Technology of the Electrical Panel
- (1) The equipment should generally adopt materials with good welding and corrosion – resistance performance. In a ship environment, the material performance should not deteriorate. Metal parts with poor corrosion resistance should have reliable protective layers.
- (2) The conductive parts inside the equipment should be made of copper or copper – alloy materials, and should have good conductivity.
- (3) Wiring terminals: Special terminals should be used. Wiring terminals should be resistant to oil, moisture, and mold.
- (4) The electrical equipment should have sufficient electrical clearance and creepage distance, in accordance with GB4027 – 84 “Electrical Insulation Creepage Distance and Electrical Clearance Measurement Method”.
- (5) All equipment with internal wiring should have a wiring diagram or wiring table attached on the equipment. The wiring terminals should have corresponding durable marks or symbols. The components inside should have marks with the same component symbols as the schematic diagram.
II. Other Functions
- (1) Instruments, indicators, switches, buttons, etc. The handles of disconnectors and the operation parts of indicators should all have clear markings indicating their operating positions and nominal tightening torques. The automatic – circuit – breaker tightening devices should all have over – torque protection and fixed values.
- (2) The voltage meters on the distribution board, the voltage – measuring coils of the instruments, the grounding indicators, the indicators, as well as their connecting wires should all be protected by fuses.
- The design representative company and manufacturing company should be clearly marked on the measurement box.
III. Main Functions
- Shore – power voltage measurement.
- Shore – power current measurement.
- Shore – power electricity quantity calculation.
