Marine oil skimmer PY(Z) series
Application
It is used to collect oily (grease) gray water from galley, dining room, pantry and other places onboard the ship for automatic skimming treatment. After separation, the waste oily (grease) and residue will automatically and regularly flow into the collection barrel, and be discharged water into sewage treatment plant or overboard.
System principle
PY (Z) series grease separation device adopts gravity separation and u-shaped pipe principle to treat galley gray water and separate oil, water and residue.
The PY (Z) series grease separation device consists of three parts: oil-water separation zone, residue collection zone and waste oil collection zone.
The galley gray water flows into the oil-water separation area by gravity from the inlet of the grease separation device. The waste oil enters the sewage oil collection area up and the residue enters the residue collection area down. Waste oil and residue are automatically discharged into the waste oil and residue collection bucket on a regular basis. There is no need to interrupt the operation of the device during the whole discharge process.

The internal design of the device adopts the flow velocity profile of the separation tank to effectively separate grease and sediment to meet the peak load treatment requirements;

The discharge of grease and sediment is completely automatic, the operator will not be exposed to grease and sediment;

The discharge of grease and sediment will not be interfered with the operation of the separator, and the process will not be stopped;

The separation process ensures that the oil and sediment are highly concentrated, only the oil and sediment to be treated, and no excess water;

Effective heating and short holding time in the separation tank ensure that no grease adheres to the tank wall, so internal maintenance and cleaning can be reduced to only the annual inspection.
