Marine Hot Well Preheating Unit
The Marine Hot Well Preheating Unit is an important part of the marine exhaust gas boiler system. Its main function is to condense the steam, which is the working medium after the inner circulation in the exhaust gas boiler, into water. This water is then supplied for continuous circulation, saving fresh water and steam waste heat for reuse. As the working medium circulates in the system, it is inevitably polluted by oil and other impurities. The hot well also serves as a water purification device for the system’s circulating working medium. When the medium passes through the hot well, the condensate is filtered, and the oil and impurities are separated and discharged into the bilge. After filtration, a certain proportion of specific chemical treatment agents can be added to the condensate in the hot well to improve and soften the water quality, reducing scale formation on the boiler heat exchange surface and corrosion of the circulation system.
