- Voltage Regulation Mode: Customers can choose between no – excitation voltage regulation and on – load voltage regulation based on their operational needs. No – excitation voltage regulation is suitable for applications where voltage adjustments are infrequent, while on – load voltage regulation allows for real – time voltage adjustments during operation.
- Tap Range: The tap range options include ±5%, ±2×2.5%, and ±4×2.5%, offering precise voltage control to adapt to different load conditions and voltage fluctuations in the distribution network.
- Frequency: These transformers are compatible with both 50Hz and 60Hz power systems, making them suitable for international use and a wide range of applications across different regions.
- Number of Phases: They are designed as three – phase transformers, which are ideal for distributing power in industrial and commercial settings where balanced power supply is essential.
- Connection Group Number: Available connection group numbers include Y, yn0, D, yn11, or other customized options. This flexibility allows for different connection methods to meet specific electrical requirements in various power systems.
- Short – circuit Impedance: The short – circuit impedance is set to the standard impedance (refer to performance parameters for details), ensuring stable operation and protection against short – circuit faults.
- Use Conditions: These transformers are designed to operate under normal conditions with an altitude of less than 1000m and an ambient temperature not higher than 40℃. However, when these conditions are exceeded, corresponding quota adjustments are made according to the standard to ensure reliable performance.
- Cooling Method: Two cooling methods are available: self – cooling (AN) and air cooling (AF). The self – cooling method is suitable for applications with relatively low power loads, while air cooling provides more efficient heat dissipation for higher – power applications.
- Protection Level: Different protection levels are offered, including IP00, IP20 (for indoor use), and IP23 (for outdoor use). These levels protect the transformers from dust, moisture, and other environmental factors, ensuring their long – term reliability.
- Insulation Level: The insulation levels are carefully designed for different voltage levels. For the 10kV level, it is LI/AC 75/35 kV; for 20kV, it is LI/AC 125/50 kV; for 35kV, it is LI/AC 170/70 kV; and for 0.4kV, it is AC /3 kV. This high – level insulation ensures the safety and reliability of the transformers.
- Climate Level: The transformers are rated at climate level C2, indicating their ability to withstand moderate climate conditions.
- Environmental Level: They meet the environmental level E2 requirements, demonstrating their compliance with environmental protection standards.
- Combustion Performance Level: The combustion performance level is F1, indicating that the transformers have good flame – retardant properties, reducing the risk of fire in case of an electrical fault.
Characteristic
- Compact and Lightweight Design: Our distribution transformers feature a small size and lightweight construction, making them easy to install and transport. This is especially beneficial in applications where space is limited or where frequent relocation may be required.
- High – Quality Coil Winding: The coils are wound using the same advanced winding technology, ensuring excellent concentricity. This results in strong short – circuit resistance, enhancing the overall reliability and durability of the transformers.
- Low – Loss Iron Core: The iron core lamination is tightly bonded, minimizing energy losses during operation. Additionally, this construction reduces noise levels, providing a quieter operating environment.
- Safety Features: These transformers are flame – retardant, explosion – proof, and environmentally friendly. They are designed to prevent fire and explosion risks, protecting both personnel and equipment. The environmentally friendly design also reduces the impact on the surrounding environment.
- Efficient Cooling Performance: By utilizing the air natural cooling method, the transformers offer good heat dissipation performance. This ensures that the transformers operate within a safe temperature range, even under high – load conditions, extending their service life.

Working Principle
[Insert a clear and informative image named “Distribution Transformer Working Principle.jpg” here to illustrate the electromagnetic induction process]
When an alternating current (AC) passes through the primary winding of the distribution transformer, it generates an alternating magnetic flux. This alternating magnetic flux, guided by the iron core, induces an alternating electromotive force (EMF) in the secondary winding. As a result, electrical energy is transmitted from the primary side to the secondary side. The magnitude of the induced secondary EMF is directly related to the number of turns in the primary and secondary windings. In other words, the voltage is proportional to the number of turns, enabling the transformer to step – up or step – down the voltage as required.
