HMPE Rope is a rope made of High Modulus Polyethylene (HMPE) fiber. It is known for its high strength, light weight, low elongation, and low abrasion resistance. It is widely used for mooring, towing, and lifting applications.

Key Features

  • High strength and low weight: Strength is equal to steel wire rope of the same diameter, while it is only 1/8th the weight of steel.

  • Low elongation: 3-4% at break, comparable to steel wire rope.

  • Low water absorption: Excellent performance in marine environments. Resists moisture and maintains its strength.

  • Excellent chemical resistance: Resistant to most acids, alkalis, and solvents.

  • Compliant with OCIMF MEG4: Manufactured in compliance with the latest OCIMF MEG4 safety guidelines.
