3RP Series Rotary Lobe Pump

1. Brief Introduction

(1) Feature

It belongs to positive displacement pump and has the advantages of outstanding self-priming, high efficiency, and long life. It applies to delivering suspension liquid with soft solid particles, corrosive medium, and suspension liquid. The delivered medium temperature range is from -30°C to +180°C, and viscosity range from 1.0×10⁻³ St to 1.0×10⁶ St. The parts in contact with medium adopt stainless steel. The rotating speed can be adjusted according to the delivered medium’s physical property.

It mainly applies to food, drink, brewing, medical industry, daily chemical industry, petroleum industry, etc.

(2) Structure Feature

It mainly consists of cam rotor, shaft seal, gearbox, and other parts. A pair of synchronous transmission gears drive the cam rotor to rotate in the medium. Shaft seals can be designed as packing seals or mechanical seals according to different working conditions. High-strength cast iron gearbox, spiral gear, and heavy-duty bearings are used to extend the pump’s service life. The main part is a box-type assembly, and the rotor clearance can be adjusted without disassembling the gearbox.

The material of O-ring seal is silicone rubber, and polytetrafluoroethylene is used when the medium is corrosive. Looking from the motor to the pump, the pump rotates clockwise.

2. Overview

Characteristics: The pump is a rotary positive displacement pump with high efficiency, long lifespan, and suitability for conveying temperatures between -30°C and +180°C, viscosities from 3.0×10⁻⁶ to 1.0×10⁶ m²/s. It handles suspensions with soft particles and corrosive media. The wetted parts are made of stainless steel, and speed can be adjusted based on medium properties.

3. Structural Type
