The CHJP86 EMC Armored Marine Instrumentation and Communication Cable is specifically engineered for reliable signal transmission and communication in demanding marine and offshore applications. Designed with advanced electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) screening properties, this cable minimizes interference and ensures stable performance in sensitive instrumentation and control systems. It is ideal for fixed installations aboard ships, oil platforms, and offshore structures, including both internal compartments and open deck areas. For prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, a black UV-resistant outer sheath or additional protective covering is recommended.

Construction Details:

1. Conductor: Stranded copper wire

2. Insulation: XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene)

3. Twisted Pair: Two insulated cores twisted together; shielded with plastic-coated aluminum tape and a tinned copper drain wire

4. Bedding: Filler tape for structural integrity

5. Screen: Copper drain wire (all sizes) and 100% coverage copper tape

6. Armor: Copper wire braid with >94% coverage (IEC 60092-350); tinned copper braid available on request

7. Sheath: Polyolefin plastic (SHF1, IEC 60092-359) or thermosetting polyolefin (SHF2) on request; standard color grey, other colors available
