Product Information
- Material: UHMWPE
- Density: 0.97g/cm³ (Floating)
- Melting Point: 145°C
- Elongation at Break: 3 – 4%
- Abrasion Resistance: Excellent
- UV Resistance: Excellent
- Chemical Resistance: Excellent
This product is made of ultra – high molecular weight polyethylene fibers.
Product Features:
- High Strength: Under the same diameter, it has a strength equivalent to steel wire.
- Low Elongation: The breaking elongation is close to that of steel wire.
- Light Weight: The weight of the rope is only 12% of that of nylon rope or polyester rope, 20 – 25% of that of polyethylene rope, and 18 – 20% of that of polypropylene rope.
- Small Diameter: Under the same breaking strength, its diameter is 55 – 60% of that of nylon or polyester rope, and 45% of that of polypropylene rope.
