17.5mm U2/U3 High – Quality Marine Anchor Chain for Offshore Mooring SLC
We are a professional supplier offering a comprehensive range of marine anchor chains SLC and offshore mooring chains. Our products are certified by multiple well – known marine classification societies, including CCS (China Classification Society), LR (Lloyd’s Register), ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), BV (Bureau Veritas), GL (Germanischer Lloyd), KR (Korean Register of Shipping), NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai), DNV (Det Norske Veritas), RINA (Registro Italiano Navale), and IRS (Indian Register of Shipping). These certifications ensure that our marine anchor chains and offshore mooring chains meet the highest industry standards for safety and quality.
When it comes to marine anchor chains, there are two main grades: Grade 2 and Grade 3. For offshore mooring chains, we have three grades available: RQ3/NVR3, RQ3S/NVR3S, and RQ4/NVR4. Our product range is extensive, with chain diameters ranging from 12.5mm to 162mm, catering to various marine and offshore mooring requirements.
To guarantee the reliability and durability of our marine anchor chains, we conduct a series of rigorous tests. These include UT (Ultrasonic Testing) & MT (Magnetic Particle Testing) for defect detection, as well as proof and loading tests to assess the chain’s strength and performance under different loads.

FAQs
- What is the difference between U2 and U3 grade marine anchor chains SLC?
The main difference lies in their load – bearing capacity. U3 grade marine anchor chains generally have higher proof and breaking loads compared to U2 grade chains. This means that U3 chains can withstand greater forces and are suitable for more demanding marine and offshore mooring applications, such as large vessels or harsh environmental conditions. - How long does the hot – galvanized surface treatment last in a marine environment?
The lifespan of the hot – galvanized surface treatment in a marine environment depends on various factors, such as the quality of the galvanizing process, the water salinity, and the exposure time. Generally, a well – galvanized marine anchor chain can last for several years without significant rusting. However, regular inspection and maintenance are recommended to ensure its long – term performance. - What are the advantages of using marine anchor chains SLC with multiple certifications?
Using marine anchor chains with multiple certifications provides several advantages. Firstly, it ensures that the chains meet the safety and quality standards set by different international classification societies. This gives you peace of mind knowing that the chains are reliable and suitable for use in various marine and offshore operations. Secondly, having multiple certifications can increase the marketability of your vessel or offshore structure, as it demonstrates compliance with global industry standards.
