Marine Bronze Fixed-Pitch Propeller
Our marine propeller is a premium bronze fixed-pitch propeller (FPP), specifically engineered for optimal performance in marine environments. Fixed-pitch propellers are known for their simplicity and reliability, making them an ideal choice for a wide range of marine vessels.
Material Composition
We utilize high-quality marine-grade bronze alloys, including Cu1, Cu2, Cu3, and Cu4. These alloys are carefully selected for their exceptional corrosion resistance, strength, and durability, ensuring that our propellers can withstand the harsh conditions of the marine environment, such as saltwater exposure and constant movement.
Configuration Customization Options
- Diameter Range: Our propellers come in a comprehensive diameter range from 500mm to 7000mm. This wide selection allows us to cater to various vessel sizes, from small boats to large ships, ensuring a perfect fit for every marine application.
- Blade Count: We offer a variety of blade counts, including 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 blades. Each blade configuration is hydrodynamically optimized to maximize efficiency and performance. Whether you need a propeller for high-speed cruising or heavy-duty towing, we have the right blade count to meet your requirements.
Performance Metrics
- Max Speed: Our marine fixed-pitch propellers can achieve a maximum speed ranging from 150 to 550 revolutions per minute (RPM). This wide speed range enables our propellers to be suitable for different types of marine operations, from slow-speed maneuvering to high-speed travel.
- Thrust Output: With a thrust output capability of 12.2 to 161 metric tons, our propellers provide powerful propulsion, allowing vessels to move through the water with ease, even in challenging conditions. This high thrust output is essential for applications such as towing, pushing, and operating in strong currents.
- Power Transmission: Our propellers are designed to efficiently transmit power, with a power transmission range of 2.5 to 170 kW/RPM. This ensures that the power generated by the vessel’s engine is effectively converted into forward motion, maximizing the overall performance and fuel efficiency of the marine vessel.
Complete Propulsion System Components
Propulsion Assembly
The core of our marine propulsion system is the propulsion assembly, which includes the bronze fixed-pitch propeller itself. This assembly is carefully designed and manufactured to ensure smooth and reliable operation, providing the necessary thrust to propel the vessel forward.
Nozzle (Kort/Propeller Duct)
Our propulsion system can be equipped with a nozzle, either a Kort nozzle or a propeller duct. These nozzles are designed to enhance the performance of the propeller by improving the flow of water around it. They can increase thrust, reduce cavitation, and improve overall efficiency, especially in low-speed applications.
Stern Tube & Shaft (AISI 316/4340 Steel)
The stern tube and shaft are crucial components of the marine propulsion system. We use high-quality AISI 316 and 4340 steel for these parts, which offer excellent corrosion resistance and strength. The stern tube provides a smooth passage for the shaft, while the shaft transmits the power from the engine to the propeller, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
Shaft Seal & Bearing System
Our shaft seal and bearing system is designed to prevent water ingress and reduce friction, ensuring the smooth rotation of the shaft. This system is essential for maintaining the integrity of the propulsion system and preventing damage to other components. It is engineered to withstand the harsh marine environment and provide long-lasting performance.
Ancillary Systems
- Water Lubrication Unit: To ensure the smooth operation of the shaft and bearings, we offer a water lubrication unit. This unit uses water as a lubricant, which is environmentally friendly and cost-effective. It helps to reduce friction and wear, extending the lifespan of the propulsion system components.
- Torque Measurement Sensors: Our propulsion system can be equipped with torque measurement sensors. These sensors accurately measure the torque transmitted by the shaft, providing valuable data for monitoring the performance of the propulsion system. This information can be used to optimize the operation of the vessel and prevent potential problems.
- Shaft Brake & Locking Device: For added safety and control, our propulsion system includes a shaft brake and locking device. The shaft brake can quickly stop the rotation of the shaft in case of an emergency, while the locking device can hold the shaft in place when the vessel is stationary. This ensures the safety of the crew and the vessel in various operating conditions.
- Grounding/Bonding Kit: To protect the propulsion system from electrical damage, we provide a grounding/bonding kit. This kit ensures that all metal components of the propulsion system are properly grounded, preventing the buildup of static electricity and reducing the risk of electrical shock. It is an essential safety feature for marine vessels.
