IHF Fluorine Plastic Chemical Pump
1. Product Overview
The IHF single – stage single – suction fluorine plastic alloy chemical centrifugal pump (referred to as the IHF fluorine plastic chemical pump) is a new type of pump that combines the excellent corrosion – resistance of fluorine plastic alloy with the efficiency of a centrifugal pump. The pump body is lined with metal shell and internal fluorine plastic alloy lining. The over – current components (pump body, impeller, seal ring) are made of “plastic king” polytetrafluoroethylene (F4) or fillable fluorine plastic (F46). The pump cover is made of metal casting and is lined with fluorine plastic. After high – temperature molding and high – pressure sintering, the fluorine plastic and metal body are firmly combined to form a whole, with excellent corrosion – resistance and high strength. The pump adopts a suspended impeller structure, and the shaft seal adopts advanced outer – installed single – end face mechanical seal or various types of non – contact seals, with good sealing performance, no leakage, and long service life. It has the advantages of simple structure, reliable operation, convenient disassembly and assembly, and small size.
2. Pump Sealing Introduction
This pump adopts a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) mechanical seal with multi – layer protection, which extends the service life of the mechanical seal. When conveying media containing solid particles, it can be equipped with a water – cooled sealing chamber, a single – face hard – to – hard (silicon carbide vs. silicon carbide) mechanical seal, or a flushing seal. Therefore, users need to consider the solid content in the medium when selecting the pump type.
3. Range of Application
The corrosion – resistance and wear – resistance of IHF fluorine plastic chemical pumps have been widely recognized by users. Currently, they are widely used in the transportation of corrosive liquids in the chemical industry, such as the transportation of acid, alkali, and salt addition processes in organic acid projects; the transportation of various corrosive liquids in pharmaceutical projects; the transportation of acid and alkali in chemical fiber projects; the transportation of various acid – alkaline liquids in non – ferrous metal smelting projects; the transportation of various acid – alkaline liquids in automobile manufacturing’s electroplating and painting processes; the transportation of acid – alkaline liquids in the electronics industry, such as the etching process in circuit board production; and the transportation of various acid – alkaline liquids in pesticide, dye, paper – making, food, and other industries. It can transport any concentration (except molten fluorine acid and fluorine gas) of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia, strong alkali, organic solvent, strong oxidizing agent, and other corrosive media at temperatures ranging from – 20℃ to 100℃ (when using F46 lining, the temperature can reach 150℃). It is currently one of the popular pump equipment among users.
