Hot well
1. Overview
The JDRJ Series Hot Well Units are mainly used as auxiliary equipment for marine or land – based exhaust gas steam boilers, oil – fired exhaust gas composite boilers, oil – fired boilers, or other types of small low – pressure steam boilers. It also serves as a key auxiliary device in marine or land – based thermal systems, integrating functions such as condensed water recovery and storage for steam boilers, boiler water supply, condensed water cooling, automatic water replenishment, filtration, and observation. It effectively conserves fresh water resources.

3. Technical Features
- Control: In the hot well unit, the condensed water is first cooled by seawater (or fresh water) through the atmospheric condenser. This seawater (or fresh water) removes part of the heat from the condensed water, lowering its temperature to approximately 60°C. It then flows by gravity into the filtering device in the water tank to remove mechanical impurities from the system, thus protecting the normal operation of the boiler feed pump. The condensed water in the hot well is supplied to the boiler by the boiler feed pump, which is automatically controlled by the boiler’s automatic control box and cooperates with the Automatic Control of the Boiler Feed Pump.
