1. Overview

2. The Characteristics and USES
The hose pump falls under the category of volumetric peristaltic pumps, also known as flexible tube pumps. This pump type features no mechanical seals, strong self-suction capabilities (maximum suction lift of 8 meters, no need for priming), self-cleaning, and a simple structure that is easy to maintain. Its unique design, devoid of mechanical seals, prevents all leakage issues that can occur with mechanically sealed pumps. The smooth cavity of the flexible hose allows the pump to handle fluids with impurities, various fibrous objects, and solid particles with diameters up to 1/4 of the pipe diameter without blockage or failure. When the pump runs dry, there is no risk of damaging the shaft seal, bearings, or stator. Due to its special principle, it can also transport various gases without cavitation. The fluid pumped only comes into contact with the hose, enabling this pump to transport all corrosive and abrasive media that rubber can withstand. It can operate in reverse with low power consumption. The total efficiency of the pump is 75%, and the volumetric efficiency is high, with a total volumetric efficiency of 98%. Additionally, this pump has excellent metering capabilities and can be used as a metering pump.
3. Range of Application
This series of pumps is suitable for chemical, pharmaceutical, food, metallurgy, and raw material industries, papermaking, water industry, construction and building materials industry, petrochemical industry, etc. It can replace reciprocating pumps, diaphragm pumps, and screw pumps in occasions where rubber withstands corrosion, and can be used as metering pumps. This pump is particularly suitable for transporting pretreated domestic sewage, the transportation of sludge in bolting mills, the transportation of sludge in sewage treatment, the transportation of gold ore pulp, and other various ore pulps.
4. Principle of work
A pair of pressure rolls rotates along a special rubber tube, which is flattened, and due to the elasticity of the tube itself and the forced guidance of the side guide rolls, ceramics, paper, and other components induce the recovery of the tube to its original state, which creates a vacuum in the tube, and then the fluid is discharged from the tube under the mechanical pressure of the pressure rolls.
