When the star wheel of CWX Marine self-priming vortex pump rotates, it generates centrifugal force. Under the action of this centrifugal force, the liquid flows into the root of the blade from the side face of the pump shell and is thrown outward to the circle and enters the groove of the cover plate on both sides. This part of the liquid originally moves in a circle with the blade, and has a certain velocity energy, which can be changed into pressure energy in the cover channel. And then it’s grabbed by the blades. In the process of the liquid particle from the inlet to the outlet, this effect is repeated many times, and the energy is increased step by step, just as the liquid is acted on by the multistage impeller in the centrifugal pump. The liquid moves in the groove with the star impeller, and at the cutoff point, the liquid flows out of the outlet hole because the groove is suddenly blocked. The outlet hole is arranged on the outlet cover plate, and the entrance cover plate is provided with an entrance hole, which is opened at the place where the trough suddenly appears after the cut-off area, where there is obviously negative pressure in order to suck in the liquid.
