Surface Foam Buoy
Surface foam buoys are used on the surface and above 10m water depth. They are typically employed as mooring buoys, anchor – pendant buoys, and navigation buoys.
The foam buoys are manufactured using high – quality closed – cell resilient foam, encapsulated with a self – colored tough polyurethane elastomer skin. The modular foam buoys are constructed with a PE shell using rotational molding technology and filled with polyurethane closed – cell foam.
- Unsinkable Foam Core: 100% closed – cell foam ensures the buoy remains unsinkable even if the skin is punctured, without absorbing water.
- Strong and Tough Skin: The polyurethane elastomer is sprayed onto the skin and reinforced with nylon filaments at optimal angles.
- Steel Work and Assembly: The central steel tube features longitudinal gussets and external load – distribution flanges at each end, which are epoxy – coated or hot – dipped galvanized. Various end fittings are available.
