Advanced Treatment Process
Stage 1: Primary Separation & Coalescing
Bilge water enters through a seawater pre-filter and non-return valve into the first separator chamber. Hydrophilic cone wave plates facilitate oil coalescence, allowing free oil to rise into the collection chamber through gravity separation.
Stage 2: Automated Oil Removal & Backflush
When oil reaches the interface level, sensors trigger automatic valves (VS1, VS2) to initiate fresh water backflushing. This pressurized cleaning cycle propels accumulated oil to the waste oil tank while the system temporarily pauses feeding operations.
Stage 3: Secondary Filtration & Membrane Polishing
Pre-treated water passes through secondary filters before final discharge. If the 15ppm monitor detects excess oil content, automatic three-way valves (VS4/VS5) divert flow to the third-stage ultrafiltration membrane for final purification using advanced permeation technology.
