System Operating Principles
Ballasting Process:

Ballast water enters through ballast pump and passes through 40-micron filter
Pre-filtration removes large inorganic particles, zooplankton, and phytoplankton
MPUV reactor delivers 200-280nm ultraviolet irradiation for effective disinfection
Treated water flows to ballast tanks, free from invasive species

De-ballasting Process:

Ballast water bypasses filter system during discharge
Direct flow through MPUV reactor for secondary disinfection
