Approved Marine Separator – IMO MEPC.107(49) Certified Bilge Treatment System

Product Overview
Our Approved Marine Separator is a state-of-the-art filtration system designed to effectively treat oily bilge water from ships and offshore platforms. Utilizing an advanced three-stage separation process, this system guarantees that discharged water contains ≤15ppm of oil, ensuring full compliance with IMO MEPC.107(49) regulations and MARPOL Annex I requirements. Engineered for reliability and efficiency. It is the ideal solution for vessel operators seeking to meet stringent environmental standards while maintaining operational performance.

Key Features & Benefits
  • ✅ IMO MEPC.107(49) & MARPOL Certified – Ensures discharged water consistently meets the ≤15ppm oil content limit.

  • ✅ Three-Stage Separation Technology – Combines gravity separation, coalescing filtration, and membrane permeation for superior oil removal.

  • ✅ Vacuum Feeding System – Prevents emulsification by drawing bilge water under negative pressure, enhancing separation efficiency.

  • ✅ Fully Automated Operation – Integrated 15ppm bilge alarm and automatic diverter valve ensure continuous compliance.

  • ✅ Global Marine Approvals – Certified by CCS, BV, DNV, ABS, LR, GL, KR, RINA, and EC.

  • ✅ Low Maintenance Design – Self-cleaning function and easily replaceable filter elements reduce downtime and operational costs.

How It Works – Intelligent Three-Stage Separation Process

1. First Stage – Gravity & Coalescing Separation
Bilge water is drawn into the first-stage coalescer separator under vacuum by the feeding pump. This negative pressure suction prevents emulsification, allowing large oil droplets to rise and be separated through gravity and hydrophilic cone plate technology.

2. Second Stage – Fiber Filter Adsorption
The pre-treated water passes through a secondary fiber filter, which captures remaining oil particles and fine impurities through adsorption and depth filtration.

3. Third Stage – Membrane Permeation
If the 15ppm oil content monitor detects elevated oil levels, water is automatically diverted to the third-stage membrane. Using advanced permeation technology, this stage removes emulsified oils to achieve effluent quality below 15ppm.
