Nitrile Rubber (NBR) 80 -59°C to +120°C Oils, fuels, petroleum, hydraulic fluids, animal/vegetable oils, hot water, and dilute acid/alkali solutions. Excellent oil resistance.
Butyl Rubber (IIR) 80 -59°C to +120°C Hot water, acids, alkalis, phosphate ester solvents. Excellent ozone and gas impermeability.
Fluoroelastomer (FKM/Viton®) 75 -20°C to +200°C Hot oils, aromatic solvents, chemicals, fuels, ozone, steam, and acids. Superior heat and chemical resistance.
EPDM Rubber 80 -57°C to +150°C Hot water, steam, alcohols, ketones, brake fluids, and ozone. Excellent weather and heat resistance.
Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR) 80 -40°C to +100°C Water, mechanical oils, animal/vegetable oils, diluted salt solutions. General-purpose, cost-effective option.
Silicone Rubber (SI) 70 -55°C to +200°C Hot air, oxygen, water, some oils and greases. Excellent high/low-temperature flexibility and stability.
