Pure PTFE Tetrafluoride Gasket | Teflon Sealing Solutions for Chemical & Food Industries
Meta Description: Discover our high-performance Pure PTFE (Teflon) Gaskets. Excellent chemical resistance for acids, alkalis, and high-purity applications in chemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing.
Pure PTFE (Teflon) Gaskets: The Ultimate Chemically Inert Sealing Solution
Our Pure PTFE Tetrafluoride Gasket, also known as Teflon gaskets, represent the pinnacle of corrosion-resistant and non-contaminating sealing technology. Manufactured from 100% virgin polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) rods, tubes, or plates through precision machining or high-temperature molding, these gaskets deliver unparalleled performance in the most demanding environments. From standard flat washers to custom V-rings, piston rings, and ball valve seats, we provide a versatile sealing solution for virtually any application.
Key Features & Technical Advantages:
-
Exceptional Chemical Resistance: Offers superior resistance to strong acids, strong alkalis, and nearly all aggressive chemical media, making them ideal for harsh chemical processing. The only exceptions are molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine.
-
Ultra-High Purity & Non-Stick Surface: As a perfectly clean sealing product, our Pure PTFE gaskets will not contaminate process media. This makes them the preferred choice for sealing in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries where hygiene is critical.
-
Outstanding Electrical Insulation & Weatherability: Features excellent dielectric properties and is unaffected by moisture, oxygen, or UV radiation. PTFE gaskets maintain mechanical integrity and performance even after prolonged outdoor exposure.
-
Low Friction Coefficient & High Mechanical Strength: The low friction surface ensures easy installation and removal, while the high mechanical strength and excellent machinability allow for the production of complex, high-tolerance sealing components.
Important Application Note:
While PTFE is incredibly robust, it is important to note that pure PTFE gaskets can become brittle at cryogenic temperatures below -185°C and may exhibit creep under continuous loads at temperatures above 200°C. We recommend consulting our team for applications outside standard operating windows.
