Application Areas of Single Screw Pump
The single screw pump can be used for transporting neutral or corrosive liquids, clean or abrasive liquids with low or high viscosity, and liquids containing gases or easily producing gas. It is suitable for conveying low-solid-phase liquids, including those containing fibrous and solid particles.
- Food Industry: Used in breweries to transfer wine, waste residue and additives; also for transferring jam, chocolate, etc.
- Textile Industry: Transfer of synthetic fiber liquids, viscose liquid, dye, printing ink, nylon, powder liquor, etc.
- Paper-making Industry: Transfer of black pulp.
- Petroleum Industry: Transfer of various oils, multi-phase and polymers.
- Chemical Industry: Transfer of suspending liquid, emulsion, acid, alkali, salt, etc.
- Shipbuilding Industry: Transfer of residue oil, stripping, sewage, and seawater.

Feature of Single Screw Pump
- Good Self-suction: Has strong self-suction ability, can self-prime, and has a simple structure.
- Economical and Durable:
- High universality and reliability. It can transfer media with particular self-sealing, has a wide range of viscosity, and can transfer viscous media. Without the need for a valve, and even if the medium with solid particles is transferred, it is not easy to be blocked.
- The flow rate is proportional to the speed, and it can be used as a metering pump. The direction of running and flow is reversible, suitable for use in two-way rotating occasions, with a wide application range.
- It has a steady capacity and low pulsation. The single screw pump has a small volume, low weight, simple structure, convenient maintenance, and low operating cost. The surface of the screw can be repaired with a wear-resistant layer, which can be replaced after being worn, extending the service life.
- It can transfer media with different viscosities by changing the rubber material. The rubber sleeve is transmitted by two universal couplings, which is convenient for installation and disassembly. The types of seals can be changed (such as mechanical seal, packing seal, etc.).
